The beach was a short walk away, and I enjoyed cooking simple meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The rabbits outside my cabin added a fun touch to the experience. The laundromat on site was convenient for our stay. I appreciated that everything was clean and had good heating in the chilly nights. Being from Rome, I felt at home walking along the beautiful beach.
The check-in process felt lengthy, a bit tedious. The WiFi was inconsistent during the evenings and could use improvement.

The beach was just a short walk away. We loved the charm of the mini farm with the llamas and goats. It added a unique touch to our experience. The chalet had a cozy feel, and the bed was comfortable. We encountered some issues. The wifi was unreliable , and the TV was out of order. One of the outlets caused a power surge while using the hairdryer, although I was able to fix it without much trouble. The cabins could use a little updating, particularly in the kitchen where utensils were lacking. Despite these inconveniences, the beautiful surroundings and family-friendly atmosphere were good.

Had good stay during our South Island road trip and the weather was wonderful. The food was fabulous and the staff was knowledgeable and efficient. This hotel was located in a beachfront area very close to the garden, the city centre where the all the restaurants, cafes and supermarkets are located and beach, glow worms and town centre. We checked out Glow Worm Dell, that was set within easy walking distance of the property. Everything was simply very good.

The look and character of the site, right from the gate entrance and through the property. Excellent chalet we stayed in, attention to detail, quality fittings, lighting, excellent heating options for such a large space. Liked the environmental policy / statement I read on the wall of the office - would like to have an option to check out on the internet what this actually means - for example, I would like examples of where local / regional / nz products were purchased on the basis of being local or environmental to back up the associated policy statement. Increasing tourists will expect this. Bedding was really comfortable, layout and size of bathroom brilliant - I love having plunger coffee provided also! Oh and the hosts recommendation for a place to eat - fantastic coffee as assured and best deal on Whitebait for the coast.

The mini farm with alpacas and goats is good.
The bathroom had an unpleasant smell which was quite off-putting. There were no hooks or suitable seating arrangements for three adults in the suite, leaving one of us uncomfortable during our downtime. Lastly, the close proximity of the neighboring guests made it a bit awkward to enjoy the outdoor space.

The location was outstanding. Our accommodation fronted onto beach. The quality of the chalet was excellent, clean and well maintained. It was equipped with everything you could need for self-catering.
There was nothing to dislike!
